My head is too full of half thunk ideas.

So my photography teacher has now decided he will no longer give us assignments. We are to make our own. Thus why my mind is currently racing in circles attempting to think of an idea suitable enough for my apparent 'skill' (My teacher thinks highly of me, so I need to come up with a kick-ass theme). I was thinking of opposites, like the sun and moon, but to have it be metaphorical as he hinted we should do portraits. I also thought of simply having the theme be colors, and that could stretch to colors reflecting emotions, and so on.
To sum it up I need help because my head won't shut up. Input please?
